By using the site, you acknowledge these educational limits and basic rules.

1. Education, not professional services

This site offers general education about relationships, marriage, family, boundaries, and communication. Lessons and AI-tutor responses do not replace counseling, mental or physical health care, legal advice, police, or emergency services. If there is violence, coercion, self-harm, or immediate danger, contact qualified local help and emergency services first.

2. Free learning and public beta

The 100 Courses and the Five Colleges’ core material remain free to read. The site is in public beta, so pages, illustrations, and features will continue to change. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free material, or a perfect fit for every individual situation.

3. AI tutor and guest use

Guests may read without signing in and may use the tutor where it is available. AI can produce incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable answers; compare its response with lesson sources and real-world facts. Do not use the service for unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or security-disrupting content, or to bypass usage limits.

4. Sharing and intellectual property

You are welcome to share lesson links and the “one line to take with you.” Unless a page grants further permission, obtain permission before reproducing, bulk republishing, modifying, selling, or using course material to train a commercial system, and retain attribution. Rights in cited research, institutional materials, and third-party works remain with their respective owners.

5. Co-creation material

Submit only material you have the right to share, without exposing another person’s identity or private information. With your clear consent, the University may anonymise, edit, translate, and consider a submission for a free lesson or co-creation display. The University may decline, remove, or not use material that is unsafe, infringing, unverifiable, or unsuitable for education.

6. External sites, limitations, and changes

We do not control or guarantee the content, availability, or privacy practices of external links. To the extent permitted by law, the University is not responsible for treating general educational material or AI responses as a substitute for qualified judgment. Material changes will update the date on this page and be announced visibly on the site.
